About Last Night
The reading was terrific. I loved the play, powerless, when I first read it back in November but it wasn't the right time for Tex in the City to stage it. I'm so glad we didn't forget about it or let it die on our submissions vine. Marli Guzzetta, the very lovely author, got lots of terrific questions and valuable feedback for future re-writings or productions. I was disappointed, though, that the lead women played lesbians in love but never actually kissed, it was just read as a stage direction. I want my $2 back!
I'm off to a costume fitting for a gig I have tomorrow night at the Copacabana. I'll be a cigarette girl then a 1940s glamour girl. Let us join together in prayer that my pasty winter skin is covered up properly.

Amen.
