Bedford, TX Native Jenn Dodd Stars in "No Show: A One Woman Show" in NYC

Comedy chameleon and Bedford, Texas native Jenn Dodd premieres her first solo show “No Show: A One Woman Show” for a series of performances beginning October 10th at Stage Left Studios in New York City.

Woody Allen once said, "80% of success is showing up." Comedic actress and Andy Kaufman Award finalist Dodd must have missed the memo. After she fails to arrive for her own solo show, a cavalcade of personalities takes advantage of the empty stage. In this quirky, fast-paced comedy of errors, Dodd portrays each oddball character.

What happens when the one women whose show it is, is a no-show? Find out for yourself during the following show times:

OCT 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24 & 25, 2013 @ 7:30PM

Stage Left Studios

Free Comedy Track for Tex in the City

On August 2nd, Secretly Canadian is proud to release the debut album by Tig Notaro entitled Good One.  Good One contains well crafted and ridiculous material touching on subjects such as Tig's family tree, Mexican hotel door signs, birthing a dinosaur, and how 90s pop singer Taylor Dayne is the easiest person in the world to run into, amongst other things. A deluxe version of the album contains the long anticipated DVD of Have Tig At Your Party, the human equivalent to the “burning log” DVDs.

Tig has had recurring roles on several TV Shows. Most notably, she played “Officer Tig” on Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program and was a Series Regular on ABC’s In the Motherhood, opposite Cheryl Hines and Megan Mullally.  Most recently, Tig Guest Starred on NBC’s Community and is slated to appear on HBO’s animated series, The Life and Times of Tim.

And this summer Tig will be performing at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, and The Sled Island Festival. Check out a full list of live dates below. Click on the widget below to get a free MP3 from Tig Notaro's Good One.
